PSP to come with 8Gb of memory? And PS3 = Too Expensive
It’s still a rumor, but supposedly Sony wants to get Samsung NAND flash memory for the PSP and to start installing it internally in a future release of the PSP.

This could be great for the PS3 functionality of the PSP. But, it also stands to make the PS3 WAY expensive… On a side note, Merrill Lynch says the parts Sony claims is going to be in the PS3 is going to cost $800 to manufacture the system alone (compared to the $525 it takes M$ to make an entire 360 Premium package).
Actually, looks like analysts expect the PS3 to be $699 – $799… Ouch. And with a possible 2007 launch date stateside, I guess we’ll have time to save… or just adore our 360’s and Revolutions.

Man, I hope Sony loses.
